Private Sessions Hawkesbury
Private art therapy sessions offer a personalised and creative space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface — thoughts, feelings, patterns, transitions, relationships, identity or experiences that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
Kylie works from a transpersonal art therapy approach, drawing on creative processes, symbolism, imagery, mindfulness and Jungian-informed ways of working with the unconscious.
You do not need to be artistic or have any previous art experience. Art therapy is not about making something that looks good. The focus is on the process, what emerges through it, and what the imagery or experience may reveal to you.
Your First Private Session — 90 minutes
All new clients begin with a 90-minute private art therapy session.
The extra time gives us space to talk about what has brought you to art therapy, what you would like support with, and anything that may be important for Kylie to understand before beginning.
From there, Kylie will guide you through an art-making or creative process suited to you. This might involve drawing, painting, clay, imagery, meditation, writing, symbolism or other expressive approaches.
There is no pressure to interpret or explain everything you create. Often an image or symbol can emerge before we consciously understand what it means, and part of the process is becoming curious about what appears.

Continuing Private Sessions — 60 minutes
Once you have completed your initial 90-minute session, you are welcome to continue with 60-minute private art therapy sessions whenever they feel useful.
Sessions can continue exploring something that has emerged previously or begin with whatever feels most present for you on the day.
There is no requirement to commit to a regular schedule — you can simply book a session whenever you would like one.

About Kylie
Kylie is a qualified transpersonal art therapist and has been working with therapeutic and creative groups since 2016.
Over the years she has facilitated art therapy and creative therapeutic programs in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, cancer support programs, aged care, NDIS settings, community programs and corporate environments.
Her approach is grounded in the understanding that creative expression can sometimes reach experiences that are difficult to access through words alone.
Kylie has a particular interest in symbolism, the unconscious, Jungian approaches, imagination and the way unexpected imagery can emerge through the creative process.
Sessions are gentle, collaborative and non-judgemental. You do not need to arrive knowing what you want to make or even exactly what you want to talk about.
Sometimes we begin simply with a feeling, an image, a question — or a blank page — and see what emerges.
