Online Ceramic Classes

Step into the studio without leaving home.

These online pottery classes are little adventures in clay. Each session explores a brand new subject, so your hands never get bored and your imagination never gathers dust. One week you might be sculpting tiny bees on swings, the next coaxing curious monsters into existence, shaping whimsical figurines, or crafting soulful pieces for the garden.

Every class focuses on a specific project and skill set, guiding you step by step while still leaving plenty of room for your own voice to sneak in through the cracks. You’ll learn techniques you can use again and again, all wrapped inside playful, tangible creations.

It’s less about perfection, more about process. Less about copying, more about discovering what wants to emerge through your hands.

Clay, curiosity, and a new surprise each time.

Hanging Plant Pot

Hanging Plant Pot
This is an hour-long instructional video of how to make a flying pig in overalls as a hanging plant pot. Some experience with clay needed. Ceramic clay (clay that gets fired in a kiln) must be used for the piece to be functional. This lesson will show you step by step how to build the pot, it does not show you how to glaze your pot. Although the lesson is an hour long, it will may take you longer to build, as I often instruct how to make 1 thing (eg an eye) then stop filming to make the other eye. Otherwise, the video would be too large to upload. Watch trailer to see tools needed. Any questions, please email themudhum@gmail.com
